This notice explains how BNS REAL ESTATE LTD (“BNS”, “we”) collects and uses personal information through this website.
Who we are
The controller of your personal information is BNS REAL ESTATE LTD, trading as BNS Real Estate Agency, registered in England and Wales under company number 13935265. Our registered office is PO Box 4385, 13935265 – Companies House Default Address, Cardiff, CF14 8LH. Our mailing address is 27 Old Gloucester Street, London WC1N 3AX.
You can contact us about privacy at [email protected] or on +44 20 3397 3500.
What we collect
When you send an enquiry through this website we collect:
- your name, email address and phone number
- the type of enquiry you select and the message you write
- the page you enquired from and, if you enquired about a listing, the property's name and details
When you send an enquiry, the form passes your details to our form delivery provider, Web3Forms, which emails them to our team. The website itself does not store them. If you call or email us directly, we collect the details you give us.
How we use it
We use this information to respond to your enquiry and, where you ask us to, to help you rent, buy, let, manage or stay in a property. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or taking steps at your request before entering into a contract.
Who we share it with
We do not sell your information. It is shared only with service providers who help us run this website and respond to you.
Enquiries sent through the website form are delivered by Web3Forms, our form provider, which processes them only to pass them on to us.
Our website is hosted by Vercel, which processes technical information (such as your IP address) needed to deliver the site securely.
Cookies and browser storage
This website does not use cookies, analytics or advertising tools. It remembers your last property search in your browser tab only (session storage), so the “Back to properties” link can return you to it; this is never sent to us and is cleared when you close the tab.
Fonts and images are served from this website itself; pages do not load content from third-party services. Links to our Instagram and LinkedIn pages, and to the Property Redress Scheme, Tenancy Deposit Scheme and ICO websites, take you to those sites, whose own privacy policies apply.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry details for up to 2 years after our last contact with you, unless they become part of a tenancy, sale or property management agreement, in which case we keep them for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to:
- ask for a copy of your personal information
- ask us to correct or delete it
- object to or ask us to restrict how we use it
- ask us to transfer it to you or another organisation
To use any of these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You can also complain to the Information Commissioner's Office if you are unhappy with how we have handled your information.
